In 1998, I moved to Alaska to be closer to my parents because my dad’s health was declining. My businesses were based in Texas, so the move meant starting over.

I had plenty of sales experience, but I didn’t know how I was going to make a living from Alaska. Whatever I developed needed to work regardless of where I lived because I didn’t want to start over again when I eventually returned to the lower 48.

So I rented a small, ugly office in Anchorage and spent three months researching the Internet.

I had no idea that those months would lead to a series of software systems supporting tens of thousands of remote sales reps throughout the world. Or that God was using the process to prepare me for a much larger vision.

I’m sharing that story in From Alaska to the Next Generation of Remote Sales, a FREE PDF about how God led me through that process, what I learned along the way, and how experiences I didn’t fully understand were preparing me for the work He’s given me now.

I’m not a programmer. I couldn’t build the software myself, but I could recognize problems, see what the technology needed to accomplish, and work with people who could turn those ideas into functioning systems.

The first application I had developed simply distributed leads to remote sales reps. Later platforms brought together lead generation, follow-up, communication, training, and complete sales systems that could be deployed across large organizations.

Each one grew out of problems I encountered while doing the work.

That experience shaped what I now call the Remote Sales Method. Its purpose is to help remote sales reps become successful and do the best job possible by giving them the tools, training, information, processes, and support they need.

By using technology and automation to reduce repetitive work, the Remote Sales Method gives reps more time to spend with their best prospects, understand what they need, and help them make informed decisions. It also helps reps stay connected with their clients and customers and continue developing those relationships after the sale.

I believe remote sales reps should be treated as indispensable contributors, not disposable parts of a sales machine.

Technology should help people become more capable, better prepared, and more effective at serving others.

I’m now architecting a fifth remote sales application and having it developed. It will also be my second enterprise-level remote sales platform.

The new platform draws on what I learned from every system that came before it, along with what AI can now contribute to research, information gathering, analysis, and decision support.

Getting here involved much more than successful projects. There were setbacks, unanswered questions, doors God closed, and times when I knew I needed His help because I couldn’t figure out what to do next.

Looking back, I can see a pattern in how He led me that I couldn’t recognize while I was living through it.

Co-Creating with GOD: Spirit-Led Innovation is a Christian initiative that provides FREE training to help people discern God’s leading and apply it to ideas, problems, decisions, and assignments.

The training brings together the Spirit-Led Co-Creation Pathway and the 7i Innovation Framework. The Pathway helps people seek clarity and confirmation about what God is showing them and respond to His leading. The Framework helps them investigate, develop, test, and implement ideas as they move forward.

Co-Creating with GOD is the first major initiative within the larger Global Christian Business Network vision God has given me.

Some of the businesses, products, and services developed through that work could benefit from regional, national, or global remote sales organizations. The new platform is being designed to help support those future projects.

Co-Creating with GOD also has a Christian-based global affiliate program. It gives believers a practical starting point in remote sales. They can register separately as affiliates and begin by introducing others to the FREE training, following up personally, and helping them understand the available Membership options.
