There is a difference between receiving an idea and knowing what to do with it. That difference matters because decisions have consequences. An idea can affect a business, a ministry, a family, a team, or other people who are depending on you to make a wise decision.

That is one reason I believe discernment and practical development belong together. The training helps you clarify an idea, examine assumptions, identify questions that need further research or wise counsel, and consider what needs to be developed or tested.

As your understanding grows, you can put what you’re learning into practice while continuing to seek God’s direction.

Even when an idea seems worth pursuing, it needs to be examined and developed. You may discover that part of it needs to change, that more information is needed, or that it should be set aside. Working through those questions helps you understand what you have and whether to continue with it.

The Spirit-Led Co-Creation Pathway and the 7i Innovation Framework give you a way to approach that work while remaining dependent on God. Together, they help you discern what He is showing you and bring practical structure to developing the idea. God remains the source, and we continue seeking His direction as we do the work.

This training began when two very different journeys came together.

Greg Moyer spent more than 25 years in Silicon Valley studying creativity, invention, innovation, entrepreneurship, neuroscience, problem-solving, and the thinking and doing habits of some of the most prolific creators and innovators throughout history.

His research identified recurring patterns in how these creators and innovators thought and worked. Those insights helped shape the seven repeatable thinking-and-doing elements of the 7i Innovation Framework.

He created 9 inventions, developed 10 innovations for his industry, and consulted with Fortune 500-level clients. His work with just six of those clients helped generate more than $6 billion in new revenue.

My journey was different.

Years earlier, God had led me to become an early pioneer and a world leader in my niche of global remote sales, long before remote sales went mainstream. From Alaska, of all places.

I built global sales organizations involving tens of thousands of people and designed the enterprise-level software behind the business model. And I didn't know how to write a lick of code.

There’s no way I could have done any of it without God leading me, guiding me, and revealing what I needed to know.

At the time, I had no clue that what God was walking me through would later overlap with the innovation pattern Greg had identified. I was simply following His leading, doing the work, and responding to what He was showing me.

When Greg first explained the 7i Innovation Framework to me, I recognized it immediately. I remember saying to him: "This is exactly what God walked me through."

The Spirit-Led Co-Creation Pathway grew out of what God had walked me through, and Greg developed the 7i Innovation Framework through his research and practical marketplace work. Bringing the two together became the foundation for Co-Creating with GOD: Spirit-Led Innovation.

One of the things Greg and I agreed on early was that biblical wisdom, innovation research, and marketplace experience need to work together. Thinking carefully and using a sound process are part of doing the work while continuing to depend on God.

Biblical wisdom comes first. Scripture gives us the foundation for wisdom, discernment, stewardship, and faithful action. Whatever process we use has to remain grounded there.

Innovation research helps us understand how ideas are discovered, developed, evaluated, refined, and put into practical use. There is a lot we can learn about how people think, solve problems, make connections, develop ideas, and move those ideas toward implementation.

Marketplace experience keeps the process grounded because ideas eventually have to meet the real world. Leaders have to make decisions, solve problems, work with other people, deal with limited resources, and live with the consequences of those decisions.

Those three areas come together in what we call the Co-Creating with GOD Blueprint. The Blueprint gives you the larger structure behind Co-Creating with GOD: Spirit-Led Innovation.

The Spirit-Led Co-Creation Pathway helps you understand the larger journey of recognizing and faithfully responding to what God is revealing. It helps you recognize that receiving an idea or direction from God is not the same thing as having everything worked out.

The 7i Innovation Framework gives practical structure to the work of developing the idea. It helps you ask better questions, gather information, think more carefully, work through possibilities, involve other people when appropriate, and move toward action.

The seven movements of the Pathway and the seven elements of the Framework do not correspond one-to-one. You may use several elements of the Framework while clarifying or validating an idea, and return to them as new information becomes available. Both allow you to revisit earlier work as your understanding develops, with prayer, discernment, and the leading of the Holy Spirit continuing throughout.

A process can help you think carefully and work more intentionally with what God has placed in front of you, but it never replaces your dependence on Him.

God still gives His people insight, understanding, and guidance. The question is whether you will recognize what He is showing you and respond.

One reason the Pathway matters is that it helps you recognize where you are in the process. You can know God has shown you something and still not have enough clarity to act on it. You can have clarity and still need confirmation.

You can have confirmation and still have a lot of work ahead of you. Those are different situations, and treating them as though they are the same can create unnecessary confusion. The Pathway gives you language for working through those differences without pretending the process is always neat or predictable.

And it keeps an important distinction in view: God leads. The Holy Spirit equips and directs us. We still have to respond and do the work.

The fact that we use a process doesn't mean we expect God to fit inside it. His thoughts and ways are higher than ours.

That is why prayer, Scripture, discernment, and dependence on the Holy Spirit aren't things we add to the process. They shape the way we approach the entire process.

Depending on God and doing disciplined work are not opposites. If you're developing an idea, you still need good questions, information, time to think, the ability to explain what you're working on, and feedback at the right point. Eventually, something has to move from thought into action.

That’s where the 7i Innovation Framework is useful. It gives you practical structure for investigating, developing, testing, and implementing an idea.

The Framework can help you think more carefully and work more intentionally, but it can't tell you what God wants you to do. You still have to seek Him, discern what He is showing you, and decide whether and how to move forward.

AI can be a useful tool in your work. What concerns me is becoming so dependent on it that you stop doing the thinking yourself.

AI can give you an answer that sounds intelligent. It can summarize information, compare options, help with research, and give you different ways to look at a problem.

But you still have to decide whether the information is accurate, whether the reasoning makes sense, whether something important is missing, and whether any of it applies to what you're actually dealing with.

And as a Christian, there is another question AI can't answer for you: What is God asking you to do? That requires discernment.

There’s also a creativity issue. If you accept the first answer AI gives you, you can stop short of questioning an assumption, considering other possibilities, or developing an idea further.

I see AI as a tool that should augment and enhance human intelligence. Your thinking, creativity, discernment, judgment, and practical involvement remain essential as you use it.

The Holy Spirit leads. People discern and decide. Augmented intelligence assists. That is the approach we bring to the AI-Era Training as you learn to use these tools in your own work.

Scripture, prayer, wise counsel, and the leading of the Holy Spirit remain central as you learn and apply the teaching.

What if the answer you've been praying for begins with something God is already showing you, but you haven't recognized it yet?

I encourage you to give what God may be showing you careful attention, seek clarity, and work through the questions in front of you as He leads.

You don’t need a fully developed idea or a complete understanding of what God is doing before you begin. Choose one idea, problem, decision, or assignment to keep in mind as you work through the training.

If all you have is a question or a growing awareness that something needs to change, you can begin there and allow your understanding to develop as you pray, investigate, and apply what you’re learning.

Go into the training willing to pray, think, ask questions, receive counsel when you need it, and do the work.

If what you started with needs to change or be laid down, be willing to do that. And if God makes the next step clear, be willing to take it.
